ALL AREAS ACCESS TRAINING - DON'T JUST QUALIFY, EXCEL.

All Areas Access (AAA) is a prominent Australian company specialising in rope access services and training. As an IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) Operator and Training Member Company, AAA offers comprehensive IRATA-certified courses at their state-of-the-art facility in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Their purpose-built training center is among the world's largest dedicated to rope access training, featuring structures that replicate scenarios found on oil rigs, mine sites, and industrial workplaces.

IRATA Training Structure

IRATA's training and certification scheme is divided into three levels:

  1. Level 1 Technician: An entry-level qualification for individuals with little or no prior experience. Level 1 technicians are trained to perform a specific range of rope access techniques under the direct supervision of a Level 3 supervisor.

  2. Level 2 Technician: An intermediate level for experienced technicians who have completed Level 1, accumulated a minimum of 12 months and 1,000 logged hours, and are competent in more complex rigging and rescue techniques. Level 2 technicians can perform advanced rope access tasks and rescues under the supervision of a Level 3.

  3. Level 3 Technician/Supervisor: The highest level, for technicians with extensive experience who have completed Level 2, accumulated an additional 12 months and 1,000 logged hours, and possess comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques, legislation, and worksite management. Level 3 technicians are responsible for the overall safety and supervision of rope access projects.

Each certification is valid for three years, after which re-certification is required.

Training at All Areas Access

AAA offers weekly IRATA courses for all levels, including refresher training. Each course spans five days—four days of training followed by a one-day assessment conducted by an independent IRATA assessor.
