GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Standard
REFRESHER

The GWO ART Refresher course is designed for personnel who have previously completed the ART Initial course. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical exercises, participants refresh and further develop their rescue, working at heights and manual handling skills, ensuring they remain competent and confident in performing entry-type rescue operations within a WTG using current industry-standard rescue methods and equipment.
 
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) qualification, recorded in the GWO WINDA database, demonstrating compliance with the Global Wind Organisation standard. In addition, participants will achieve the following nationally recognised Australian units of competency:
 
✅PUASAR032 – Undertake Vertical Rescue
✅PUASAR022 – Participate in a Rescue Operation
 
This unique combination of internationally recognised GWO certification and nationally recognised vocational competencies provides graduates with qualifications that are highly valued across both the Australian and global wind energy sectors.
